This One's for You — Giving Back to Sarasota and the Photography Community

Best of SRQ Best Photographer

Here's the thing about winning an award voted on by your community.

You don't get to just say thank you and move on.

Or — I don't, anyway. That's not how I'm built. When people show up for you the way Sarasota showed up for us, the only right response is to show up back. Loudly, intentionally, and with something real to offer.

So that's what this post is.

What giving back actually looks like

I've been thinking a lot about what "giving back to the community" means in practice — not as a phrase, but as an action. A real one.

For me it means two things. It means making the boudoir experience more accessible to the people who've been curious but haven't pulled the trigger yet. And it means putting professional photography resources into the hands of photographers who are doing the same work I was doing years ago — building something from nothing, figuring it out session by session, wishing someone would just hand them a roadmap.

I've been both of those people. I remember what it felt like to need both of those things.

So I built something for each of them.

For the women who've been thinking about it

If you've been on the fence about booking a session — whether that's a boudoir shoot, a couples session, or anything in between — I want to remove every excuse you have left.

The studio is the best it's ever been. The experience is dialed in. And as my thank-you for this recognition, I've put together a collection of resources designed to make your session the best possible version of itself before you even walk through the door.

We're talking about everything from knowing exactly what to wear, to understanding your best angles, to feeling genuinely prepared and excited rather than nervous. Because the women and couples who come in prepared? They leave with their absolute best work.

If that sounds like you — or like the version of you that you're ready to become — this is your moment.

For the photographers who are building something

I've been teaching boudoir photography for years now. Workshops, online courses, one-on-one mentoring — I've invested heavily in passing on what I've learned because I genuinely believe that elevating this genre makes it better for everyone. Better for photographers, better for clients, better for the art form itself.

The professional photography resources I've put together aren't filler content. They're the actual tools I use — the Lightroom presets that define my signature look, the pricing frameworks that helped me build a sustainable business, the posing guides that took years of refinement to develop.

If you're a photographer trying to figure out boudoir — whether you're just starting or trying to level up — these are the photography resources I wish I'd had when I was where you are.

A word on why this matters beyond the products

Giving back to the community isn't just about resources and discounts. It's about the ripple effect.

When a photographer in Sarasota — or anywhere — elevates their craft, their clients have a better experience. When a client walks into a session prepared and confident, they leave with images that genuinely change how they see themselves. When those images exist in the world, they quietly give other people permission to do the same thing.

That's the kind of giving back I care about. The kind that keeps moving long after the transaction is over.

This award was a reflection of what we've already built together here in Sarasota. Everything I'm offering right now is an investment in what we build next.

What's available

If you're a client or someone curious about booking — head to the landing page and look for the "I Said Yes to Myself" collection. It's priced at $26 as a direct nod to Best of SRQ 2026, and it's available for a limited time.

If you're a photographer looking for professional photography resources that actually move the needle — the "Behind the Award" bundle was built for you. Everything I use, everything I teach, in one place.

Both are available now at the link below. No upsell, no pressure — just real tools from someone who's been doing this for fifteen years and genuinely wants to see you succeed.

Thank you, Sarasota.

This community has given me more than any award ever could. These resources are my way of making sure that energy keeps moving in every direction it possibly can.
